Stayed at Abbotsley for a couple of nights thinking it would be good for a golf break. It should be great, as they have two very nice courses on the doorstep, restaurant/bar and a relaxing rural setting but sadly its not. It was a nice change to the run of the mill hotels. Very basic but great views. Miss the breakfast was dreadful shame. Bar prices were pricey £5.00 for a white wine. more
We stayed one night here as we were travelling through the area. It is a simple, basic hotel, tagged onto a golf club!
