We stayed here as part of a Wedding group booking in early September 2009. Overall the hotel offered a mostly positive experience, with a few areas to be tightened up (listed below). Contrary to a previous review that dictates city centre hotels offer a better experience - not true, we have recently had a horrendous stay at a filthy and... more

Stayed here for wedding. Rooms small, not allowed own alcahol in room, not enough coffee etc, one little soap and shampoo. Tatty mis matched furniture, needs refurbishment. No mini bar.Two rooms had very badly stained carpets, if in a room with young children it is too small and do not pay extra for a z bed. Wedding in souless golf... more

I have just returned from a business stay in Wychwood park and could not recommend it highly enough due to the unbelievable service I received there. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. What really inspired me to write the review was the fact that I mistimed my taxi for my train to Manchester airport and the hotel... more

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 2 year old. Reception staff were all friendly and we had no problems at all throughout our stay. Rooms were nice and a good size. Cleaning staff kindly cleaned our room every day - which is a feat in itself with a 2 year old who scatters his toys throughout the room.... more

Stayed here on a golf deal (1 night DBB, 2 rounds), and have no complaints. The hotel itself is pretty new, rooms clean & comfy and food average. The service was fine and the staff friendly. Golf course is well maintained, but suffers from what a lot of new courses do - the rough is left to grow because the... more

My husband and I have just returned from a one night stay at Wychwood Park, and the main reason for our visit was to play golf. From checking in to leaving the following day, all the staff at both the hotel, golf club and clubhouse were so pleasant and helpful, and went out of their way to assist. The golf... more

My husband and I stayed here over the May bank holiday weekend, with brother in law and his girlfriend, to visit family in the area. Hotel was very quiet when we arrived and we checked in quickly. Our room was fine, overlooking the terrace and the rabbits playing there! Brother in law had slight problem with their room - crumbs... more
