Going to watch Lincoln City's away game at Northwich Victoria, I knew Travelodge were doing a cheaper rate at £19 for a night, so figured I'd save myself a trip on the morning and stay over the night, the nearest being Middlewich. Firstly, the postcode that is advertised on the Travelodge website is not the postcode of Travelodge. The postcode... more

Large, clean room with good facilities for overnight stay and very helpful, friendly staff. Good pub next door. A little noisy from lorries, but the website warned of this and you are close to the motorway (which is a plus for most travellers). more

I travelled with 3 friends, having booked 2 rooms. Both rooms were great, on the first floor and very quiet. We had no noise from traffic at all. (I live in a rural area with no traffic noise and cannot sleep where there is noise, so when I say it's quiet, I really do mean it is genuinely quiet). Both... more

Bathroom is dirty though our towels got changed the next day. We can feel the whole room is dirty and need a good clean. Right next to motorway so it's noisy whole day long. No good if you have baby or need a good sleep. Not a good choice at all. more

Shabby, poorly maintaned lodge. If you are allocatted a room on the rooad side of the building prepare not to sleep. Lorries trundling past all night and bouncing through potholes out side your window. Beds are squeaky, pillows poor and the boiling hot water coming out of both the hot and cold tap is novel. Could not shower as the... more

I was visiting family in Middlewich itself...so basically it was booked for me so that we didnt have to travel far from their house. before I start..I want to say I've stayed at Travelodges before...and you should get what you pay for ... Simplicty , Basic ammenities and cleanliness. The fact that there was no other hotel around forced our... more

I know Travelodges are basic however they should always be clean! Ours had a very dirty bathroom door and the carpets were grotty - dirt all around the edges. For this price you can do better! more

Dont know what the previous comments were about re the noise. We enjoyed our stay and didnt hear a lorry all night, and my partner is a light sleeper and we had a back room adjacent to the dispatch centre which is further away than described. People have to understand travelodges are next to trunk roads not in the middle... more

I paid a high price of £50 for Room only, the staff were friendly, but the big problem, as others have said was the constant lorry noise from the nearby Tesco depot. At 3am on Sunday morning they were coming past at the rate of one every 20 seconds, there were potholes in the road which every lorry found with... more

I booked the Travelodge at Middlewich as my husband & I were collecting my new car from Fords of Winsford..the Car Supermarket, and this hotel was only minutes from the garage. I got the £26 deal and was initially delighted but, on reading the Trip Advisor comments on noise, etc, I was afraid that I'd got a pig in a... more
