My 30th birthday was spent at Nunsmere Hall and it was absolutely amazing, and one that I will always remember. Nunsmere Hall is a truly stunning hotel, and I found every single member of staff that we encountered to be extremely polite and friendly. The rooms were outstanding. The food, the staff, the champagne, the grounds... literally everything was perfect.... more

We stayed here for a family wedding and it was simply out of this world. Truly historic. We ate here three times: the night before the wedding in the private dining area, the day of the wedding we had bar food and we enjoyed the wedding reception. At each juncture the food was superb and the staff were wonderful. They... more

We have stayed at Nunsmere hall of 4 occasions and had a wonderful experience each time. The food is delicious the service attentive and the rooms are all tasteful and beautifully appointed. I held my birthday party there in February. We booked 15 rooms, they were all different and each one was outstanding (all executive or suites) Guests were all... more

My daughter had told me that we were going to have a special Mother's Day this year and that it was going to be a surprise. All I knew was that I needed to be at her house at 10am with an overnight bag! Imagine my delight when we wound our way up the long drive which brings you to... more

The hotel is tired although we were told that it was undergoing a refurbishment programme: it needs it. Our room was big, but clad in pine with two dining chairs as the only seating. The TV system is ancient. No fridge in the room. When we returned to the hotel in the evening there were three parties going on which... more

I only stayed for one night in this lovely hotel so I wasn't able to explore the gardens and walks - and additionally they were just about finishing off decorating the downstairs hallways - which meant a little bit of stepping around painters in white dungarees in the morning. However, my room in the eaves (Pines) was spacious with a... more

My partner and I have recently returned from a stay at Nunsmere Hall and I have to say I would have to go a long way in this country to find a hotel that compares. From the minute we arrived the staff could not do enough for us. This is a truly very well run hotel from the Management through... more

We stayed at Nunsmere Hall on a Saturday night in February. We got what seemed like a good deal via an offer that was in The Times last year. Basically you receive free accommodation (room only) provided you spend at least £125 in the restaurant. We used this deal last year too but at a different hotel. The room we... more

My Husband and I stayed at Nunsmere Hotel for 3 nights to include New Years Eve package. The hotel is set in its own grounds away from the main road and is surrounded by a lake. There are walks nearby or you can just stroll around the hotel grounds. The staff can't do enough for you however and I am... more
