Have to pay to park outside hotel, nasty smell in rooms, not enough towels and receptionist away from desk on 'important hotel business' which turned out to be having a cigarette! Only plus is close to airport. more

ORIGINAL REVIEW: 27 June 2009 The Travelodge can be located on the junction of Fiddlers Ferry Road (the A562) and Ashley Way West (A568). The hotel is based across two separate neighbouring buildings, with one appearing relatively new as mentioned in previous reviews and demonstrated currently on GoogleMaps! There is a large car park to the front and between the... more

Room was a bit tired but reception was efficient, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was adequate for a one-night stay. Booked a bargain on the hotel's website. Good carvery restaurant just a short walk away (across a busy road) for a reasonably-priced evening meal. more

We stayed here for 5 nights last week and it was great for what we needed. We booked well in advance so got the room for £29 each for two of the nights and £19 each for the other three nights. We were housed in the new block, which was smart and obviously everything was new. Instead of bedside tables... more

6 of us stayed at this travelodge from 31st October to 2nd November 2009. We booked directly through the travelodge website and got a very good offer for £29 a night for the first night and then £59 for the second. Before you arrive, dont expect the ritz or hilton, it is a travelodge and you should expect a bed,... more

We booked this Travelodge as it was the closest one to liverpool where we wanted to spend the weekend. On the map it loked pretty close but actually its further than you think. Its on a weird junction surrounded by boarded up shops etc - the only place to get food nearby was KFC! You have to pay and display... more

All hotels in Liverpool booked solid for whole weekend, or else mega bucks to stay 3 nights so we (family of 4) were directed to this "Hotel" First night, around 4am, our door was banged constantly by a group (herd) of so called guests, so no sleep was had. The family room consisted of 1 double bed, 1 narrow sofa,... more

after a short wait at reception we were given keys to our rooms. The rooms given were opposite each other which was nice as we had to split due to there being more than 4 of us. The room was adequate but showing signs of age, and the bathroom was in need of a good clean. The room clearly is... more
