We stayed at this travelodge as we were delayed in a house move and needed short term accommodation. We booked a family room for myself, my fiancé and our 3 year old. It was shocking. We didn't arrive until late afternoon and found the room had not been adequately equipped. There was one pillow for three of us, and not... More

My wife and i normally stay at premier inn, in widnes but they were fully book, we decided to stay at the travel lodge £25.15 for a nights stay...couldn't turn that down, i wasn't expecting the ritz but on entering the room i was shocked to find the carpet hadn't been hoovered or clean for sometime and was stained. Just had a really comfortable three night stay over Easter. I have stayed here before and will again. Friendly staff, great location with a choice of leisure and dining nearby. Spotlessly clean and very comfy beds. You absolutely cannot go wrong for the money. The premier inn nearby is also great but I wouldn't pay extra for it... I was... More

Spent 2 nights in this Travelodge in middle of March 2013. I have stayed here before and my previous stay approx 3 years ago i stayed in the new annex. This stay was enjoyable as the annex was relatively new and well furnished. This time i was in the original building which is very tired looking and in desparate need... More

I always use this Travelodge when I visit family in Widnes for a night or two. When the supersaver deals are on, a double room can be £19 a night, less than £10 each! The reception staff are always really friendly and helpful. At the end of the day, it's a basic flop space that I don't spend much time... More

Booked for two nights but checked out after one. Whilst we didn't expected luxury from a Travelodge we didn't expect beds that wobbled terribly just sitting on them with lumpy soft unsupportive mattresses. Really not comfotable. No bedside table/cabinet just a teeny hollow barely big enough to place a cup. No power beside the beds to allow a phone to... More

Lets face it, when you pay 20 pound to stay at a travelodge you would have a bit of a cheek to tear it to pieces,, but... the rooms are dull and depressing, the cups are not clean, we were put above reception then kept awake half the night with what sounded like a furniture removal job down stairs, on... Recently spent three nights here, whilst visiting relatives in the area. For £25 per night, nothing to complain about really, although only one bath towel available others were supplied on request. We stayed in the newer block and were checked in by a friendly lady on reception, no noise from any other guests so had a good nights sleep. If... More

Stayed one night after a late flight from Liverpool airport and found it ideal. Only six miles fro the airport and easy to find.We arrived just after midnight and were checked in no time by a cheerful guy. Spacious room by Travelodge standard which was very clean and warm. Toby Carvery just accross the road was ideal for breakfast. Would... More
