We stayed in Yew tree Chapel on Day 13 of our 19 day trek along the Pennine Way and it was one of the highlights along our route. Mary greeted us with tea and biscuits on arrival and both Mary and David were very helpful in terms of suggestions for walks, places to visit and eating out. We stopped briefly at the Yew Tree on our way through Slaggyford while doing part of the Pennine Way. David took pity on us and brought us some well needed tea and coffee and home-made biscuits as there was no cafe in the village. What a find, a delight to arrive to a friendly greeting and a lovely cup of tea. The surroundings were lovely, rooms fantastic and the whole setting was very relaxing.
