We have stayed at the Victoria on a few occasions, and have always found it very pleasurable and friendly, clean with great meals from the owner who is a very friendly lady and looks after you well. Value for money at only £22 well worth it. wendy and joe sunderland more
Myselff and my mate frequently visit Alston en-route to the lakes. We have always found the owners to be very friendly and helpful. On August myself and 4 friends stayed overnight, apart from one leaving early, and not stopping the night. (This had no bearing on the establishment at all). First of all lets establish what the Victoria Inn is; it is a reasonably priced Bed & Breakfast. It has never been or tried to make out it is a Hotel.
