very good. helpful staff, good food, only one tiny complaint - no ale on, but otherwise very good! I was walking John O'Groats to Lands End, stopping a night in Sedbergh, The Bull was a very good stopover.

Stayed in this hotel last month. Very friendly helpful staff, good secure storage for my cycle. Breakfast was fantastic, the price of £30 for B & B was a true bargain. Five of us were on a charity cycle ride from Bishop Auckland to Blackpool and they couldn't have been more accommodating. The staff were great and the food and bar were excellent - top marks. Nothing was too much trouble for them, from storing our bikes to providing an early breakfast.
