St Bees is a lovely little town and there are some superb walks up and over the head to the lighthouse however our stay was marred by the poor accommodation and had it not been for the fact we were only staying one night and had had a long drive and a limited time for leisure we would have moved... more

Stayed here recently...... some rooms very nice, others not and were very damp and mouldy. Lack of pillows in the rooms, paint peeling from the ceiling, very creeky floorboards and bed. Paper thin walls, can hear neighbours going to the toilet. Breakfast was small, all in not worth £60 in my opinion. more

The host, Will Corrie, was most helpful on the phone and always a pleasure to deal with. There is ample off street parking, though one night we arrived back really late... more
