Stayed for one night while cycling from Isle of Man to Spain. The place was great. Stayed one night in Bird's Nest Cottage, and was truly impressed. Arrived after tiring, 5-hr drive to be offered tea and homemade cake by landlady, (very welcome!) and room was spacious, newly decorated and thoroughly welcoming. Wonderful B&B with good-sized, well appointed bedrooms and a great breakfast. Also nice communal TV rooms and tea on arrival. I would recommend the Birds Nest Cottage to anyone staying in Glossop. more
