I have now stayed at Kegworth House on business twice this year. I deferred a review after my first stay in May as I couldn't beleive that such a fantastic place existed in the UK, but now that I have visited a second time, and stayed in a different room, I can confirm that the excellent reviews are all true.... more

This small hotel was absolutely beautiful. Our room was so comfortable done in cottage style and the bathroom was a great size with a free standing roll top bath - luxury. Everything was immaculate and the staff were so friendly. We had read that the breakfast was to die for and it certainly was - everything you could possibly want.... more

Fantastic place to stay. Booked with laterooms for $80 a night. Happy with the place, so near to the Motorway, and the rooms are comfortable, clean and very beautiful. Sitting area, tv and real wood furniture. A great sense of being in a village and having room to breathe. Breakfast was either full english, freshly cooked, or continental. Loved it. more

This is a real find and as we both travel and stay in chain hotels this really reminded us of what comfort and service should be. I had room 11 at the top of this homely hotel in Kegworth. It was very comfortable and had a four poster bed and a sitting area together with flat screen tv. Breakfast is taken around one big table in the kitchen. Freshly cooked - delicious. Friendly staff. Nice Indian Restaurant down the road more

Sorry about the cheesy title, but it really does some up this place well. I wouldn't normally bother with a review after a one night stay, but what an excellent find. Stayed for 2 nights while visiting Prestwold circuit for my husbands birthday. Kegworth is ideally located for the M1 and loughborough area but we were a little disappointed with the village itself. The restaurant (the cottage) was closed for 2 weeks holiday and the pubs didn't look up to much. Kegworth House is rated by the AA as 5 diamonds... more
