- Official Description (provided by the hotel):
-
Formerly known as The Railway Inn, The Railway House is located on the outskirts of Burnham Market and ceased functioning as a railway station in 1957. The old station house has now been converted into seven stylish bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and a luxurious central sitting room where guests can relax and walk onto what was once the railway platform. Sitting on the old railway tracks, the original railway carriage has been cleverly converted into a romantic, cosy retreat for two with a stunning copper basin, walk in shower and luxurious fabrics. Guests enjoy breakfast at The Hoste, just an eight minute stroll away. Tea and coffee-making facilities are provided in each room. Railway artefacts and memorabilia make this a unique place to stay.
