It was truly awful, we could not find anyone to check in, our room was very dirt with what looked like either red wine or sick stains up our wall. The hotel gives a good room and good breakfast. However it can be noisy due to the trains passing a few times an hour. Also pub guests make it sometimes noisy. But the atmosphere is good and the people are very friendly. More

There are very few places to stay for my daughter's family when they visit Granny & Grandad, as pubs are not really suitable for young children because of the noise etc. and many places do not have a family room at all, so the Jester was a real find as it is clean and spacious with very helpful and friendly...
