Booked for me by Tourist Office in main town square. Central location -around the corner from town square & on same street as James Herriot Museum. Paid quite a lot more to get single access to a twin room (frustrating and costly, but very common in Britain). Had a large twin-bedded room with own bathroom. Well furnished and very clean. Single bed mattress was hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast downstairs in charming room facing the street. Pretty Yorkshire town well worth a short visit. more
