From the moment Kathryn opened the door as we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcomed into her home. There are only three guest bedrooms, so you certainly get the personal touch. This is an ideal location in Thirsk. The room was great, with a good bed, shower, TV/DVD and fan. I missed breakfast, sadly, but the owners left out some food for me to take with me when I left. They do not have parking but the public lot is a 3 minute walk. Would definitely stay again. more
