We spent one night at the Premier Inn, Wellingborough on Friday 3 October. I can only say it was the best hotel experience we have had in a long time.

The hotel has been recently and nicely refurbished and is still reasonably priced. The room was spotlessly clean and the bathroom looked new with modern temperature controlled taps on the bath. Everywhere in the corridors guests are reminded to be quiet and consider other guests who may be sleeping. We had a very comfortable bed and a very quiet night.

The reception member of staff was cheerful, friendly, courteous and gave the impression that nothing would be too much trouble. Dining and breakfast are in the adjacent Dog and Duck Beefeater Inn (I would advise booking weekend evenings). The food and service were both excellent and the price very reasonable.

I would highly recommend this hotel and would return any time I need to be in Wellingborough. more
