Excellent value and service. Comfortable, old fashioned but well maintained hotel. It is a pub, so expect it to be a bit noisy but the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Stayed here for one night with a great deal from Late Rooms - £39 for a double with breakfast. Much cheaper than the travelodge down the road. The Saracens is an excellent stop over hotel. It is not a hotel to take your loved one or family for a weekend away.
