“great place”

We stayed here on a Friday night. The experience was fantastic wearing slippers and traditional robes through the hotel. Rooms were the highlight. They seemed very traditional with a beautiful private japanese garden. Staff were excelent, even giving my partner a present for her birthday.

“Thank you Shizuka Ryokan”

We celebrated our 3yr anniversary here and we had lots of fun. The staff were very friendly and polite, the rooms were neat and clean. Food was excellent and well presented. It was a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for a couples get away. Guests are limited so you get plenty of privacy. Overall it was money well spent.

A stay with a difference. Excellent Japanese food cooked with loving care. The Japanese staff were so attentive towards their guests and gave you a real insight into a proposed trip to Japan in the near future.
