Among the delights we encountered were: a surly and unhelpful receptionist, mice in our room; damp bedclothes; boring breakfasts, a grubby dining room and inadequately trained staff. We travelled for 4 weeks around Australia, and this was the only truly unique experience. No mobile service or TV’s meant that you appreciate the serene rainforest surroundings.
