A friend suggested that when we visit Noosa, we must stay at Cudgerie. Good that we took his advice. Well, I must admit here that alternate stays available in Noosa were nearly double the price. As we drove in the morning from Brisbane to Sunshine coast, we were contacted by Steve to ensure that he is around to help us... More

Owners are both very accommodating people who offer friendly advice and whom are very good in response. This isn't a place of luxury, but more of a nice little homestead high up in town with great views and a nice verandah in the back garden. A good experience for getting away from the crazy life. The bed is very comfortable... More

Although we are repeat guests, we - and others - had an extended stay due to the floods (Cudgerie Homestead is high on a mountain - so we were totally safe). Stephen the owner had plenty of food - morning and night to us. Cumfy beds, everyone with their own bathroorm, very relaxing, great rural views - excellent country home... More

We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of this converted Queenslander with wide verandahs all around. The peaceful location more than made up for the 10 min drive into town. Our room, at the back of the house, was the most private. It had a large ensuite bathroom, and a super quiet airconditioner. Although we didnt use... More

We stayed one night in this lovely B&B on our way to a family event in Bundaberg. We arrived a little stressed and un-relaxed, but this was sorted out by the time we left - next time we might stay a bit longer and really savour the views of the sea, the amazing night-sky from this hilltop, and the laid-back... We so enjoyed our stay here. Accommodation was excellent! Steve was hospitable and friendly. Surroundings were just so peaceful and full of bird-life. I would recommend this accommodation over a motel any day and will return.

This B&B is located in lovely surrounds. The building itself is a beautiful Queenslander, very clean and well appointed. With the building being a traditional wooden Queenslander it does mean that you need to be considerate of the other guests and hope they are for you too, but that wasn't a problem when we stayed there. The hosts Steve and... More

We stayed two nights at Cudgerie on our travels by car from Cairns to Brisbane in October 2011. Having seen the listings in the B&B guide and checking out the website we were looking forward to good food and a relaxing dip in the pool after a hot day in the car but what a disappointment – pool covered in... Re: Overpriced and underwhelming. We are guilty as charged. This unpleasant experience of our Brittish guests was the result of us taking our eye off the ball. One of us was away for a month. The other depended too heavily on friends who offered to help out. Well meaning and quickly orientated was not sufficient to maintain our normal standards.... More

We recently enjoyed 3 nights at Cudgerie Homestead B&B, even with 3 other couples at the B&B there was still ample space and privacy to enjoy our stay. Beautiful evening sunsets in the pool yard and waking to the sound of abundant bird life, were just to mention a few of the highlights of our stay. We loved the homely... More

We stayed at Cudgerie for 5 nights, and loved every minute. The scenery was amazing, and so peaceful. Beautiful rooms, and pool area. As for the breakfasts, well nothing before or after can beat it, fresh tropical fruit salad, homemade warm muffins (and specially made Gluten free ones for my husband), homemade muesli and full english cooked breakfast, just outstanding....
