Yes it is all a little dated, but as others say the setting is excellent, the pool is super, the wildlife entertaining. Simple $1 bus ride to shops (buses about every 45 minutes) or a small store across the road. Restaurant is OK for price versus quality and in a nice setting overlooking the pool. Overall the hotel was great, it is all one storey bungalow type apartments, ours was quite large with double locking doors and a nice patio set to sit out on the lovely gardens.
