My husband & I spent 3 nights at the Comfort Inn a.k.a. Mission Beach Resort. Calling it a resort is a stretch- it is a long way from the beach (though conveniently located near a grocery, liquor store &
internet place) and a grand total of 3 chaise lounges
were present around the 2 pools. Management refused to bring one of the lounges over to our pool, even though the others were not being used.
The lagoon style pool was nice, with an attached spa that only worked the 1st day we were there. There
were plenty of tables & upright chairs available as
well as a BBQ area.
While the rooms across from us (not all of which were occupied) appeared to have been updated, ours
(we'd booked our room well in advance) was very shabby
in appearance. The entire compound could have benefitted from better maintenance & cleaning.
We had numerous insects in our room.
