The Port Elliot Beach House is a superb YHA to stay at while you enjoy the surrounding area. Town is a short walk away and has a supermarket, charcoal chicken joint, pub and one of the best bakeries around. The YHA overlooks the beach and is close to a walking track that follows the coastline. The YHA itself is clean... More

beautiful location, beautiful hostel, very clean, well equipped with also a nice deck and small veggie garden. The dorm are bright, well organized and just 4 beds per room, the common spaces are big and comfortable. A little more expensive than other hostels but it worths every dollars.

This is the place you would like to spend your holiday in! We were travelling in Australia with our 2 year old son and the place turned out to a dreamed one. First of all- the stuff very friendly and helpful. We got better and bigger room then we were supposed to ( a family room:)- with a small kid... More

Clean, rennovated, beach front, stunning views, this place is amazing. The staff ALWAYS answered queries partienly and were super friendly, even when obviously busy. They never showed that they had heard that question 1000s of times before!! Even has comfy beds and art deco ceilings. Is a 15minute cycle from Middleton surf beach and access to plenty of cycling, walking,... More

My son (15 yrs) and I stayed here for one night to enjoy the sun and surf. What a top location! This is an old hostel that has been gutted and rebuilt into a really good YHA. This is not a hotel, it is typical of many YHA's. The rooms are small and very basic. The beds were bunks, but... More

This is a very clean and enjoyable YHA to stay in. Firstly, the manager Ben there is a very nice guy and will make you feel right at home on arrival. The dorms and bathrooms are very clean and the kitchen is excellent. There is a great living-room and TV room. You are right across the road from a good... More

The beautiful restored building with wooden floors on the cliff top looking over the ocean is awesome. The walks from the end of the road are beautiful. The furnishings are new, clean, colourful and very comfortable- its kind of like an Ikea show home! Some of the dorms are a little cramped though, but the beds comfortable, cosy and the... More

This Youth Hostel has to have the best views in Pt Elliot. You can pay 10X more for other accomodation and still not get as great a view as you can from their balcony. Clean and neat as a pin with contemporory furnishings. I will be staying at the Westin in Sydney next month and I know what I prefer... More

I really liked staying here. It was New Year’s Eve and I was working in the area for a couple of days at short notice and looking for somewhere to sleep that was affordable, comfortable and clean and I certainly found that here. It was a pleasant surprise as I don’t often stay in hostels due to some of the... More
