I am surprised no one else has written about this real delight of a hotel. Firstly have to say that Renmark is not really on the tourist route but if you have cause to do the riverland region then staying at this hotel will be a bonus. It is situated right on the river bend. Boat trips leave from just across the road although not on Sundays which was our day there! Everything in our riverview balcony deluxe room was just as the picture shows. All excellent. The walk from the rear car park up the back stairs and down a rather dark hallway was a bit off putting but on opening the door we were in another world. Lovely bright high ceiling room. Good sized shower and double sink bathroom with all toiletries. A sink, kettle, iron and ironing board and the largest hotel room fridge we have ever had! Plenty of storage space, small table and chairs and a sofa. The balcony overlooked the river. We ate in the attached bistro which was packed with locals- a sure sign that it was good.
