GREAT place to stay - very homey and awesome customer service! Loved opening the blinds to see the lake. Did not have a chance to eat at the restaurant but the continental breakfast was more than adequate.

The food is here is very good. A warm inviting atmosphere. The bartender/waitress Sara is wonderful. Specials are a great value although the appetizers are my favorite! I can just have 2 or 3 apps and be happy. The Duck breast and the Smoked-gouda grits are 2 of my favorites.

For $139 + tax, we got a king room, a $50 gift card to spend at the taverne for dinner, chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of wine. This is a great package for couples looking for an overnight getaway close to home. The rooms have a fireplace, small fridge and whirlpool bathtub. Rooms also have a small patio that... More

We took my in-laws there for a birthday meal. The service was beyond slow. We were there for two hours when we could have been done in half the time. The server would stay at other tables (the restaurant was not busy) of what I'm guessing were her regulars, talking for long periods of time. She only refilled our drinks... More

This is our 6th stay at the Inn. We are always so happy to be there. The beds are very comfortable, nice fireplace, balcony, wildlife to watch, and very close to town. Everyone is so accommodating and does everything to make your stay nicer. They always say yes if you need something special. If you want a super large hotel... More

I very much enjoyed my stay. It was so quiet, so peaceful and very nice. It was exactly what my wife and I were looking for in a quick escape. The view out over the pond (not lake, but still substantial) was everything that I wanted. The fireplace was gorgeous. The table set-up was perfect for breakfast and there was... More

Bass Lake Inn was a very nice place to stay - the surroundings, the rooms, the tavern - all top notch! The only reason why I gave it a 4 rating was because the beds were hard and uncomfortable. I suppose that's good for people who like hard, firm beds, but I'm used to a softer bed so it made... More

This was the first time the family spent its stay at the Bass Lake Tavern & Inn. In my opinion this is the best Hotel (Inn) to stay at in Chardon. It is located very close to town. The staff is extremely helpful and cheerful! The food at the tavern is excellent and the location next to the inn is... More

It was a nice place for a quick overnight. Very clean, very dated. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. Restaurant was pretty good. We only ate a late night snack. There is no lake. That was a surprise. Staff was lovely. I mistakenly checked swimming and fitness, I don't think they have either. Not sure

My friends and I met for dinner here and had a wonderful time. The setting is very charming and the food was excellent. I really appreciate they offer small plates. They had a black and blue steak special. The small plate version was $8!!! With the bread and a mini dessert, it was the percent amount of food!
