The Hotel is not like any other in the chain. Besides the large, older building structure... it has a modern decor appearance. A couple of concerns... the pillows are so loosely packed that you need several to keep your head off the bed. They charge you $19/day for parking.

The hotel is very nice and has good amenities. I've stayed here three times and I only had one experience where the hotel didn't fully meet my expectations. On one stays the hotels floor was very dirty but the rest of the room was clean.

I stayed here for two nights in March 2013 while undergoing tests at the Cleveland Clinic. I recently stayed here for a wedding. Staff was friendly. In particular, James (the shuttle driver) and Julia (bartender) were extremely friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved this hotel and modern touches.I am a hotel snob and I loved it! The staff, the restaurant were all top notch. I just had surgery at University and the shuttle took me to the doorstep! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

This hotel has two redeeming qualities: the staff's friendliness and its shuttle service to the Cleveland Clinic. I loved the room. Close to Case Western Reserve Univ (my destination). Loved the huge room and hardwood floors, beds were very comfortable. Didn't realize thermostat was off till I woke up sweating at 2AM and then had to find the thermostat.. Hotel so old world elegance!

Beautiful hotel near Case Western. Unfortunately, the hotel staff is unwilling to help out and provide good service. The staff exhibited a poor attitude towards hotel guest. This experience was very disappointing, and I don't plan on going back.
