We arrived to the clerk having her friends in the lobby area. She was talking more to them than doing her work when we arrived in our room I was disappointed. The reviews make it sound like it is ready to be condemned, but it's really not that bad. My room was clean. The bed was ok, not great, but ok. Only complaint would be of cig. smoke smell around the elevator. The lobby and breakfast area was very attractive. I would definately stay here again. more

We stayed at the Clarion Hotel in Beechwood, OH. while attending a family reunion in the area. The hotel staff was very accommodating. At check-in my husband forgot to mention our rewards program and the front desk clerk did not hesitate make the amendment later that evening. This is our 3rd trip to the Clarion. We stay here because of an event that we attend in the area each year and the rooms are booked for us. The hotel is really aging badly. For a business stay, the hotel was very poor. -The alarm clock did not work. -The WiFi internet service did not work. I was told that the service provider would be fixing it, but it did not work over my 3 day / 2 night stay. -The room had a musty smell and it was difficult to control the room... more

Stayed at the Clarion because other hotels in the area were full. The price was good compaired to others but the reason was clear after I went up to my room. The hotel looks and feels very worn. This hotel is top notch. Rooms are great and yes they do have Bath And Body Shop soaps and shampoo. Very nice. Staff is excellent as well. They have a wonderful restaurant attached with a killer wine list. And Nicole in group sales is the best around. Would come back anytime. more
