I've stayed at several of the downtown Columbus hotels, both on business and otherwise, and this is probably one of the nicest. Room was clean and updated in a contempory style. My only beef with it was that my view was of a rooftop instead of the pool (which is on the 4th or 5th floor rooftop) and downtown, and... more

Very impressive hotel. Check in was efficient and the guest rooms were just as I expected for this level of hotel. I booked through Priceline, so the value was fantastic. more

This is a fantastic hotel. The rooms are spacious and the staff provides 5-star service. My family and I flew in as an early Mother's Day present. It was the same weekend as the Ohio State spring football game, and we never heard any noise from the other rooms. Even though the hotel was packed, the staff provided patient, outstanding... more

Went to Columbus for a concert. Wonderful stay- excellent service from all employees. Any questions we asked were answered and very helpful. Parking was extra but didn't need the car during our stay walked or used taxi while there. Would recommend this to anyone and would stay again if I go to Columbus. more

Overall, a solid choice. The rooms are nice enough and surprisingly, even though the front desk says that there is no free wireless internet at the hotel, there was on the 21st floor and a very strong signal to boot. Room is pretty standard Renaissance/Marriott albeit with a smaller bathroom but not too bad. Only other issue is the overly... more

I really enjoyed the rooms..I travel a lot so I was on one of the platinum floors with a good view of the city. Bathroom was small but smartly designed and there was a nice shower. decent breakfast area. very quick valet service. good elite/gold&platinum breakfast/dinner on top floor. more

My friends and I stayed at The Columbus: Renaissance in Columbus, Ohio and were extremely happy with our stay. The concierge and all of the staff we encountered were very helpful. The room was in pristine condition, and was decorated better than any I've ever seen. Very modern! See my pictures! I appreciated the fact that our room was large.... more

My wife and I attended a new years eve Gala at the hotel. We paid $395.00 for the room and Gala package plus an additional $113.00 for the "VIP package". Both the Gala and VIP where way overbooked beyond the capacity of the rooms. My wife and I arrived at the Gala at 10PM we spent a few minutes looking... more

new years eve party advertised online should read as follows..."if you're looking to relax and ring in the new year with class---go someplace else" no real food was served. half frozen appetizers (if you want to call them that) were finally put out to a ravenous crowd of drunken hormone raged teenagers around 11pm and i suppose at that point... more
