The red brick dowager has nearly completed her renovations, and she's looking awfully good. We stayed 3 nights mid-February 2008, and all rooms and lobby were completed. Wow. We stayed here as a little escape from our kids and it was great. The service was superb. The rooms are a little cozy, but if you’ve ever stayed in a historic hotel, I think that is part of the charm!
