I am a flight attendant and often stay in hotels while on the job.
This past weekend I took my daughter (18 mo.) and my niece (4) and my mother down to Middletown for a family reunion. From the second we got there, I was a bit on edge. After spending 15 min. loading out luggage onto a cart to take to our room, we wheeled it around looking for an elevator, only to be told there wasn't one. Luckily, we were only staying on the second floor. Still... a pain to walk up 2 flights of stairs with all your luggage and 2 children under the age of 4. The hotel was HOT. NO A/C! And on an 87* evening. We got to our room only to find our beds had been made with DIRTY sheets! We called the front desk to come change the beds... which they did (unhappily). The beds were decently comfortable. I got up the next morning to use the bathroom and shower only to find mold ALL OVER the inside of the shower curtain and lining the inside of the toilet. GROSS!
