I stayed at the MM Hotels in October 2007. The experience was, unfortunately, far from good, which is why I am writing this review. The hotel is rather dirty. When we opened the door, ca. 20 cockroaches in all sizes run away in all directions. They were also climbing the walls and the cupboards in the room (not just the bathroom) so if you don't like to share your room with too many other beings you better avoid this place. We wanted to change the hotel but it was late and we had an appointment in town AND the hotel stuff was very fussy about us going away 'after checking in'. They showed us other rooms but they were as dirty and only after we asked several times they were willing to spray the rooms.
The hotel is not very cheap (for Indian standards) but the rooms are shabby and small and dirty. I stayed in much cheaper places in India, which were CLEAN. One cockroach in an Indian hotel is not a surprise. When it comes to 15-20 in one room... well, you decide.
