I happened upon the King's Arms by chance, having been sent by the receptionist at the nearby (full) travelodge. Excellent beer, cosy room, and a genuine unpretentious welcome. A breath of fresh air after most French hotels! The lovely full English breakfast was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended. More
