A journey from the South Coast to the Highlands required a half way resting place. We used this pub/B&B 2 years ago and was impressed then, hence the return visit. We had a double towards the back of the pub at the top of the stairs and was perfect for our needs. The stairs are a bit steep so might... More

My partner was attending a photographic workshop with Aspire so this was the perfect stop over as it is a couple of minutes drive away. We had Room 5 which is at the top and back of the property so lovely and quiet. Small but perfectly formed. The room is decorated in lovely rich colours which work well with the... More

Stayed for 1 night over easter weekend with my husband and our dog. Room was presentable and clean with a nice comfy bed. Bathroom was very small and a little tired looking. Pub/restaurant downstairs had a good atmosphere and we had a few drinks and our evening meal there. Menu not particularly inspiring and don't be fooled by the so... More

Stayed for three nights in March while attending a nearby photography course. The Kings Arms is welcoming, warm and friendly, Neil and Ann were excellent hosts and served lovely food (the BIG breakfast set me up nicely for the day). It was great to go back to a nice relaxing home from home after a hard days training, almost falling... More

Stayed for 1 night. Rooms basic but pleasant enough decor. Some basic cleaning needed to be done but not too bad. There were no pillow protectors on the pillows and my pillow smelled a bit. Apart from that the bed was comfy and we had a good sleep. The bar was cosy next to the log fire. There were 3... More

Ate here at an odd time of day (before normal supper time) and the food was lovely. Slightly limited vegetarian options which was disappointing but overall for everyone else the food was outstanding. skinny chips were gorgeous. Puddings fab too. Veggies will find options but if you can't eat goat's cheese you're down to two choices, one being a sandwich.... More

Had our family xmas party here and again they didn't dissapoint us. Food came out in a timely manner, the waitresses were friendly and proficient and the surroundings are superb. Would always go here for an evening out. We have to drive here rather use our local pub who serve very poor food. Congratulations again to all the team. Will... More

Called into this very welcoming hostalry whilst staying at a local bed and breakfast, It really is the focal point of the village . As we approached lots of tasteful Christmas decorations where apparent both inside and out. . Considering this is a small village, the pub and restaurant was very busy, even to the point we where asked if... More
