Our 2nd visit to this wonderful B & B was again marvellous. This time we had DBB option and the food was great. Our room 4 was cosy and had all the finery of a plush boutique hotel. The staff are, without exception, excellent. So friendly and efficient. Will certainly be back to try their other rooms. more

We stayed here for one night to do some last mintue Christmas Shopping. The room in the attic was fantastic, the furnishings everything was fantastic. The food was delicous try the breakfast pizza. The staff were excellent. I could not fault the experience and can wait to go back. more

Byfords is simply lovely. Parking is easy, reception is friendly and the rooms are delightful. The attention to detail is good, but subtle. Ate at the bar as restauranht was full, Polish staff was nice, food was terrible, Pizza isnt a strange doughy base covered in a pound of mild cheddar. If more hotels in England were like this, staying overnight in England would be far more of a pleasure! I and my girlfriend were greeted by polite staff and a warm welcome and this attitude continued throughout our stay.
