First of all, I just would like to point out that the hotel is actually in Attleborough, not Wymondham as listed on Tripadvisor. The hotel is a handsome Georgian house, not far from the A11. Had a lovely stay. Staff attentive, rooms clean and spacious with thoughtful touches in the room:- fruit baskets. Food was wonderful. Would highly recommend this hotel. more

This is a great place and has everything you could ask for in a small hotel, very clean rooms, relaxed atmosphere. We had decided to stay at this supposive Country House Hotel as it appeared lovely from the website. Believe me this is nothing like a country house hotel, more like an average B&B in a fairly grotty town. We were very disappointed by the service we received especially from the gentleman owner who was abrupt and not at all helpful.... more

I was obviously concerned at the negative review dated 30th May 2006. We took over the hotel on April 10th 2006 and I would be grateful to know whether the reviewer actually stayed at Sherbourne House before or after April 10th 2006.
