Location is excellent and there are lots of small touches that some of the more expensive b&bs or hotels could learn from - such as bottles of water in your room and a chocolate on each pillow on a 'Sweet Dreams' note! Geoffrey & Elizabeth (the owners) strike exactly the right balance between warm and welcoming and leaving you free to come and go as you please. Breakfast is in a lovely room overlooking the sea and an excellent website provides all the information you need and none of the sales talk you don't! All in all thoroughly recommended. more

We stayed at the Grafton Guest House B&B while in Felixstowe. It is right on the waterfront and within walking distance to the places we had to go in town. Geoffrey and Elizabeth are very charming and hospitable hosts and graciously accomodated our needs including getting up early to fix us breakfast the day we left as we needed to catch as train early in the morning. We had a very comfortable double bed with an ensuite bathroom which looked pretty newly renovated. There was even a flat screen TV in the room! Breakfasts were large and tasty. It was a great place to stay!
