This is a First Class Guest House in every way. Rob and Dee made us most welcome as soon as we arrived at the Norfolk. Our room ,which was en-suite, was spotlessly clean and in excellent decoration . The shower cubicle was of good size and ,like the room, the whole ensuite was spotlessly clean.. With a comfortable bed and... more

My partner and I were in desperate need of a break away and after trawling the internet for B&B's in Felixstowe, chose this one because of the great reviews and for myself personally, the swans made from towels which I thought was a fantastic touch...which I am pleased to say, we found to be exactly like the website pics on... more

We stayed for our 3rd or 4th time back in December whilst visiting the family. I feel guilty after the last review i left that i only rated it above average, as after spending time in a few other B&B's around the country last year most did not even come close when it comes to quality, cleanliness and anything else... more

My partner Sarah and I took the opportunity to get away albeit only for a short time and picked the Norfolk Guest House after seeing the photographs on the Go Coastal website. Its rare to find that rooms look exactly like the promotional website pictures! These do, right down to the carefully arranged Towel Swans (you have to go to... more

A friendly enough establishment but with a surprising number of rules. Don’t pick an English breakfast from the selection list for the morning if handing in said list after 7 pm. Don’t lose your key or you will be charged £100. Don’t drink alcohol in the room. Don’t entertain non-guests into your room. They even have a form of does... more

Management response from

We welcome feedback from all our guests and appreciate the opportunity to respond to the comments made. We ask for the breakfast menu to be returned by 7pm but are always flexible in our approach and has never been held as a hard and fast rule. We do this to avoid waste by only defrosting meat that evening which will...

Had a very pleasant stay last weekend at the Norfolk guest house. It is a small family run establishment and it shows. The rooms were in pristine condition, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, the standard of customer care would surpass a top flight 5* hotel. The thing that struck me most was the attention... more

Dee & Rob have made their guest house seem like a home away from home. The rooms were beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. There was a tray in the room fully stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits, sweets and a sewing kit which was an extra nice touch. The ensuite in our room was absolutely gorgeous. Breakfast was devine and made... more

Having never been to Felixstowe before we used Trip Advisor for some guidance. The Norfolk guest house had some stunning reviews so we thought we would give it a try. Rob and Dee made us feel very welcome and we were shown around the house and settled into our room. They seem to have thought of everything to make your... more

This last weekend I had a wonderful time at the Norfolk Guest House, which is just a few steps from the seafront in Felixstowe. I found The Norfolk in the ReEssex 2007 brochure and liked the look of it. I checked out the website and was even more impressed, so I went and booked a two-night stay. Rob was very... more
