My husband and I stayed here for a weekend, to be in the area for a family function.

We're not B&B regulars, but were very pleasantly surprised by The Beeches. My worry in such places is that it'll really feel like you're in someone else's house. Not so in this case, as the property is suitably arranged so that it isn't an issue.

Our room (a double) was clean and comfortable, with a tv, tea & coffee making facilities, and a sink.

The landlady was very friendly and helpful, and makes a great breakfast! The breakfast room is lovely, and although it rained while we were there, I can imagine it's a gorgeous place to sit in summer (outside seating available).

The Beeches also has off-road parking. more
