This is a really old fashioned hotel, full of 1970's coloured bathroom suites etc. But it works OK! The staff are very friendly, food is good if a little uninspired, bedrooms large enough even if the decor isn't to your taste. Dark. Showers were poor quality: Took a long time to build up constant water pressure and temperature. No Wi-fi Internet access. Food lacked taste, but standard for most English pubs. Took a long time to get food served--also standard. However, it was clean, safe, and reliable. more
