Just had the most delicious lunch on an icy Monday sitting by the fire. Duo of Lamb with pulses and celeriac mousse followed by Griottine cherry cheesecake and chocolate sorbet. Beautifully presented, just the right size portions and with very good service. Superb value too.

We had supper at the Crown last Saturday and had a really lovely meal. Wild foraged mushrooms on toast followed by wild mallard. I can't imagine that any of the ingredients traveled more than 5 miles to our plates - true locally sourced food served in a fab local pub. Thank you!
