This hotel is set in beautiful Kentish countryside. Several centuries ago it was the site of a gunpowder factory - hence the name. We had an executive room with lovely views of a lake. Powdermill Hotel is located on beautiful grounds that my partners and I enjoyed exploring and picnicing on. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast and dinner we had there were very nice and the food was quality. Unfortunately I don't think I would recommend a stay at this hotel because we didn't have hot water for an entire day.... more
