This place has really turned around for the better since being under new management. They are in the process of renovating the entire building. Stayed here recently while visiting an old friend after getting a good rate on Expedia. They have fixed all the problems described in other reviews as far as I could see. This place is old and digusting! Don't be fooled by the inviting reception area that is quite charming. I reserved several rooms at this hotel to accomodate family members coming to Ohio to attend the funeral of my little sister. I should have been alerted by the extremely low bereavement rate, but I was trying to get a good deal... more

Our travel softball team stayed here (along with about 5 other teams), with their families for a nearly week-long tournament. The staff was very accomodating to requests and the place was clean and safe. It is a little 'old', but it is not much different from other hotels that I stay at for work or softball - chain-type or independent.... more

After an eight hour drive from Chicago, mostly on the turnpike, I arrived at this hotel to find the Holiday Inn sign removed and lying delapidated against a pole in the car park. The property is no longer managed by Holiday Inn - it is now the Metroplex Hotel. I am not sure how bad things got before HI left,... more
