Deceived into booking by the 4 Stars on net website http://www.4hotels.co.uk. This hotel does not have any Tourist Board Stars. There are dirty carpets everywhere, bathrooms in need of refurbishment, no rails on baths but lots of mould, flushing toilet made whole place shake.........Rooms extremely dingy and televisions pre remote control and pictures snowy. The hotel was what we thought it would be a very old converted building, attractive and in keeping with the area. It is on a road but during our two night stay the traffic did not bother us at all. The room was spacious and had tea and coffee making facilities but does need at the very least their bathrooms... more

We were down in Sussex for a three day weekend and spent 2 in an amazing B&B near Polegate. I fancied moving on to try somewhere new on the last night and so booked the Priory Court Hotel. They sounded super friendly on the 'phone which I thought was a great sign. I have to say that I regretted booking... more

We had an excellent time at this hotel. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious. Staff was very friendly. Location was fantastic for area. Travelling with our two small children, we had a family room which was nice. Would definately recommend. more

The 17th century hotel sits just yards from the beautiful and fascinating ruins of Pevensey castle. Pevensey is a lovely little village 10 minutes drive from Eastbourne and five minutes from the sea.
