Had several long stays (2 weeks plus) in this hotel as it is close to my employer's main office. As you can imagine accomodating large numbers of offshor types can at times get quite "exciting" for them but I have never had any problems and once while out of the hotel for the day they arranged a local doctor's appointment... more
We stayed here for one night after a wedding (which was at Boreham House which is an AMAZING place in case anyone is interested) The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. My partner and I stayed here for a friends wedding. I arrived after midnight on a friday night to be met by a very friendly, efficient gentleman on reception. Check-in was quick and I was in my room without any delays. Breakfast in the attached 'Grange' pub was standard Premier Inn fare - plenty of food at a reasonable price.... more
Cant beleive this hotel has not been reveiwed. Nice clean hotel on outskirts of Chelmsford. Lovely pub , 'The Grange' next to it that is very popular due to its coziness and log fires and good food. The Travel inn is a good price, about £50 per double room per night and is clean and spacious. Ideal for a stopover. more
