Myself and my fiancée stayed at Homelye Farm as we were getting married at Maidens Barn nearby which doesn't have accomodation. We looked at a lot of places and Homelye Farm really lived up to it's name - Tracy and Neil were really friendly and accomodating, and they even helped me to organise wine and sandwiches in the roomfor when... more

Although we only live 10 minutes away we chose to stay here before and after our wedding which was nearby. Even though we were "locals" Tracy and Neil we so helpful and looked after us all so well. Nothing was too much trouble. The general setting is so peaceful and relaxing and the rooms were clean and extremely spacious and... more

My husband and I needed a place to stay nearby for a wedding that we were attending. This place was delightful, set in a very quiet location. The rooms had been converted from a barn. So each guest has their own little 'chalet' type accommodation, with everything that one could need inside it. There is complementary tea/coffee/water and biscuits.....much appreciated... more

Stayed here for one night in May 2009, en route from visiting relations in nearby Chelmsford. Delightful accomodation in quiet, very well equipped rooms, converted from the old farm stables. Parking right outside the door of your room (not unlike a US motel). Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, complimentary bottled water and tea & coffee making facilities, 30 odd channels on... more

Stayed just one night before flying out of Stansted early in the morning. Hosts couldn't have been more welcoming after our long drive and arriving after 9pm. Room was a great size, really nice decor, really comfortable, just perfect. Would definitely stay there again. more

I stayed at this B&B for three nights for a local horse show. it's the perfect place to stay. My room was a converted stable. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm with good facilities. The hosts were lovely and the breakfast was great. I highly recommend this B&B. more

We stayed at Homelye Farm for one night as it was convenient for the horse racing at Great Leighs, we travel the country quite a lot staying in B&B's and Hotels and this was certainly one of the best. The rooms are converted stables, very spacious and comfortable. there are nice touches around the room like bottled water which we... more
