I stayed in a twin room which was cosy, clean and well decorated. The shower was amazing, did not want to get out of it. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great too and it's only a 5 minute walk from Hornchurch station.

This was a brilliant hotel. Right in the centre of Hornchurch so easily accessible to the shops and restaurants. Very friendly and willing to help. The accommodation was very good and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding and loads to eat. Overall I would recommend the Devonshire and would definitely book there again.

Saw The Devonshire Hotel advertising cream teas for Mother's Day. As we only live 5 mins away we decided to give it a go. There were 6 of us in total, including my 88 year old mother. Very friendly, efficient hosts, lovely clean, warm accommodation, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, good security combined with 24-hour access, off-road parking - a thoroughly pleasant experience to stay here.

I stayed at the Devonshire when on business in Honchurch. I was really surprised! I've never stayed in an independent hotel which so good. Really friendly staff. Very clean. Great food. Top shower. Really good value for £76.
