Very nice, re-updated hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional at all times. Breakfast was good and restaurant meals superb. We were in a modern, clean, updated room which was very quiet and comfortable. The garden/terrace area is wonderful to sit out in when the weather is nice. Would book again and recommend thid pleasant hotel. more

Hotel looks smart on arrival but rooms are fairly basic. Stayed here while I was on a training course in Southend, the staff were friendly and helpful, the bar and atmosphere was excellent, I didn't try the food at night, but the breakfast was really good. Slight problems with the TV, but apparently that's due to be fixed this week. more
