For the first time in 15 years of business travel did I feel the need to change my room. I was put in a ground floor, room that smelled of urine, was no bigger than 13 ft by 6ft. The single bed was uncomfortable and the door frame was broken leaving the feeling that someone could have easily gained access.... more

Just come back from a long weekend at this hotel. Staff very friendly nothing too much trouble, clean room and comfortable bed. Food good and an excellent breakfast. This hotel is not brand new and it does show signs of some wearing in the most used areas, but nothing more than you would expect! Not so good: Only disapointment was... more

Just spent 7 days in this hotel which is convenient when visiting family in the area. We have stayed here before so know its shortcomings but it seems to have deteriorated a lot since we last stayed 2 years ago. On the plus side, the staff are all very pleasant and helpful and the bar has been refurbished and now... more

Stayed here for a business trip, and I really would not want anyone else to stay there. Arrived at the hotel - looked nice from the outside and very near West Thurrock where my business meeting was held. First impressions once inside were - Very Very shabby! Carpet is thread bare and held together with tape! The place smelt as... more

I recently stayed at this hotel on business. I usually use trip advisor to plan my stay but unfortunately I didn't have time on this occasion. The hotel is dirty. The room was dated and also dirty. As I sat at the dressing table working on my laptop I noticed dust on the mirror and I could actually write my... more

Just returned from a business trip, unusually I booked the hotel before reading the reveiws on this site. I was pleasantly suprised my room (262) was spotless and very comfortable, no peeling paint or damp. Check in was a breeze at 7:30pm and public rooms were comfortable. I do understand that the hotel is due to undergo a refurbishment in... more

Booked in for one night business trip. Rooms were upgraded in the 70's by the look and my room had no central heating (but that suits me). Everything looked threadbare and in need of replacement, decoration or upgrade. Having said that comfiest pillows and bed I've stayed in for a long time. Restaurant ok some dishes really good other mediocre.... more

Attending the Backgammon Live in London with a BG-friend and staying an extra day for shopping we decided to stay in the Park Inn, as from there it is easy access to Central London by car and very close to both Lakeside and Bluewater. Hotel is easy to find when you take the exit Grays on the A13 towards Tilbury... more
