We throughly enjoyed our stay. The surrounding countryside was stunning; we saw numerous birds including two buzzard. It was delightful to watch sheep and goat grazing on... More

On the whole a delightful 3 day break in a lovely part of the country using the Wyndham Arms as a base for exploring the Wye valley and the borderlands. Its strongest point is the food, really excellent meals using local produce, some of their own reared meat (Gloucester Old Spot pigs) and a creative and hard working chef. You... More

We chose The Wyndham because they took dogs as well. Charlie made us feel so welcome. The staff are brilliant and helpful. The hotel is in a great location for walks in The Forest - our spaniels were exhausted. The food is excellent as well. Highly recommended - try it! More

Fabulous walking in the Forest and the Wye Valley, then back to a warm friendly relaxed hotel, open fire, comfy sofas, interesting and quirky rooms, build around beams and full of character. The food was outstanding, the beer excellent, the old spot pork and cheese board were delicious ( infact... More
