Smooth check-in with warm welcome, bags carried to room & enquires about area respectfully answered. Room (Hartpury) exceeded expectations with super king-size bed under 1/2 tester. Spacious seating area, fridge contained still & sparkling water, loose leaf tea, ground coffee & home-made biscuits on hospitality tray accompanied by large selection of fruit - lovely! Expansive bathroom with 2 person corner... More

Not terrible, lovely setting, rooms are dated and dusty, staff are disinterested, not rude, just not interested. Food is at best average, and was at room temperature. Complaints unheeded, I would just avoid if honest. Nothing terrible, nothing great. This is a lovely area, but this is not the place to see it from!

I am obviously terribly upset by this review and aghast that anyone can see Corse Lawn in this way. We do not usually receive reviews of this kind, but this week we have had three., all very similar, and banging on about rude staff, dated and shabby decor, dust everywhere, and really unkind remarks. Very similar reviews. THREE of them.... More

Could not fault the Bistro menu, set 2 course lunch was superb and great value. Staff very efficient and friendly. We are looking forward to going back to try the full restaurant menu. Much has changed since I last visited, but the quality is still very evident. Well worth a visit or for that special occasion.

Corse Lawn is a beautiful old house and it did seem that we were visiting a private home rather than a hotel. Arrival procedures were straightforward and the reception was friendly and efficient. We had a large comfortable and well equipped room with some welcome old fashioned home comforts including leaf tea, plunger coffee, and home baked biscuits. The furnishings... More

On arrival at the hotel we were greeted with total disinterest. We were given no information about the hotel (e.g. where/when breakfast was served) and the receptionist really couldn't care less about us. The rooms, whilst large, are very dated, its like entering a time warp to the 1970's and that's probably the last time the rooms were last dusted!... More

Corse Lawn House Hotel is a beautiful old manor house, with the old coach wash dominating the front vista. The grounds and exterior are immaculate and impressive on arrival. From then on the hotel is in something of a time warp; the door must be a portal back to the late 1970s early 1980s, back to some of the oddities... More

Friendly helpful staff, owner manager on site, good food, wonderful breakfast brought to your room. Actractive grounds with a large pond infront of the hotel. We went with travelzoo so it was decent value for money as well.

Excellent food, without question worth the visit. We ate in the Bistro rather than the restaurant, significantly cheaper but the food comes out of the same kitchen from the same staff. Very good service, staff trained to high standards. Unless there is something on at Cheltenham the Bistro is often very quiet, great if you know what to expect, not... More

Does exactly what is says on the tin! We went for a midweek birthday break with another couple and had a wonderful time at this slightly quirky but cosy hotel. Despite the accolades (two rosettes for the restaurant) the whole place has a cosy, friendly feel The rooms are large, more like suites and the oversize beds are comfortable. There... More
