I stay here only when nothing else is available in the area. The hotel is terribly dated and it seems to only be used by the occassional coach party and people who like me couldn't get in anywhere else. Hotels are really at a premium in Aldershot but you can always get a room at Potters. (says it all really)... more

From the outside this places looks OK and so I was liitle puzzled at some of the por reviews that it's had. It lloks reasonably big, spacious and well amintained and there is an impressive reception desk on check-in. The public rooms look pretty reasonable at first inspection and it has an interesting association with the Army at Aldershot which... more

This hotel is unlike any other of the Pretentious ones in the area. Staff have a voice and are extremely helpful. The decor makes you feel welcomed and at home. The food was well cooked and presented. Before my leisurely dinner i visited the fantastically equipped gym facilities which beats any other i have stayed in and that i can... more

Hotel is very jaded, lacks care, needs a good revamp. Location means you have to drive everywhere. Wifi is £10 per day!! Breakfast is not fresh. more

I should have realised this is a rather unpopular hotel when I noted only 3 cars in the entire car park on the evening I arrived. The room was stiflingly hot with the staff unwilling to unlock the window. The shower head flew off during my ablutions. Staff at breakfast were unhelpful. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.... more

Stayed here for seven nights while i was working in Farnborough as the hotel i wanted to stay in was fully booked, glad i wasnt paying to stay here out of my own pocket. On arrival i went to my room to find the whole room had no power. Fair play to them they fixed it straight away but not... more

This place is an absolute shambles, having stayed here a number of times recently on business (when local Premier Inn and various bus shelters are unavailable), the place is an absolute disgrace. I have absolutely no idea where it gets its "International Reputation" or "Three star status" from. Here is why: The first time I stayed here I had a... more

Booked in at about 5.30pm on the saturday night before Xmas, the Receptionist was rude and off hand. Given our key and made way to the room, there was no heating on in the room, it smelt damp, it was dirty and shabby. The tv didn't work, the bathroom was dirty and had rust stains everywhere. Complained to the Manager... more

Great food. Great staff. And excellent entertainment. This place is a allrounder. However it is slightly expensive if you are to stay in the hotel but the bungalows are nice too. more

I stayed at this hotel on business, and my heart sank from the moment I saw the blue neon sign above the entrance. From the website I had expected a smart hotel, but it turned out to be something from the 70s. The room was basic, eg no broadband, and smelt of damp plastering. The most odd thing was that... more
